Night Owl - Spooky Mansion
With a name like Spooky Mansion you know you're about to listen to something unique. "Night Owl" is off of Spooky Mansion's I'm the Moon, You're the Wave (so plz change w/ me) , which I came across through the YouTube channel (if you can't already guess) " TheLazylazyme ." It isn't crazy madness like Dessert's " Devil " with its distortions and sloven screams, rather it incorporates an eerie undertone throughout the track with a very dry and monotone rap that flies on the surface. The bass, drums and synthesizer seem to act together to bring a-dare I say-spooky feeling to the listener that does very well to capture the strangeness of autumn. The changing of the leaves, the new chill of the air, the encroaching darkness that blackens each night just meshes well with this tune. Let's talk about that rap.
